Dr. Abhishek Jha

Dr. Abhishek Jha is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 18 years of experience in academics and financial research. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at GD Goenka University, he holds a Ph.D. in Finance (2022) from the same University, along with an MBA in International Business & Finance from Amity University and a B.E.(Bachelor of Engineering) from Pune University. He has also qualified the UGC-NET twice, demonstrating strong academic credentials. Over the years, he has been associated with reputed institutions such as BML Munjal University, PDM College of Engineering, and Hierank Business School, contributing significantly to teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development across finance, economics, and international business domains.

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Jha has substantial industry exposure, having worked in investment banking advisory and data analytics roles, where he gained expertise in mergers & acquisitions, financial modeling, due diligence, and market research. His research interests primarily lie in capital budgeting, sustainability, ESG performance, and renewable energy finance. He is actively involved as Co-Project Director in an ICSSR-funded research project on solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations. Known for his analytical abilities and effective communication, he has published multiple research papers in reputed SCOPUS-indexed and ABDC-ranked journals and has presented his work at various national and international conferences.
