Dr. Anil Kumar is an Associate Professor and Faculty In-charge of Biological Sciences in School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University Haryana. Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. degree in Stem Cell Biology (Biotechnology) of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi and M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences of Devi Ahilya Vishavidyalaya, Indore. Post Ph.D. He worked as Research Officer at Centre of Excellence for Stem Cell Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.

Methods to isolate stem cells, their characterization, in-vitro differentiation and translational research are the key focus areas of Dr. Kumar. He published the first report of vitiligo management by extracted hair follicle Outer Root Sheath (ORS) cell suspension, which is now a widely investigated field of basic and experimental clinical research.

Dr. Kumar has published research/ review papers, Books, book chapters and Gene Bank Submission. His scientific contributions are published with leading journals indexed with SCI, Scopus and with leading publication houses like Springer Nature, Bentham Science and Oxford University Press with more than 200 citations.
