Dr. Dheeraj Minglani is an Aerospace Engineering researcher specializing in computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, thermo-fluid systems and multiphase flow modelling. His research focuses on the numerical investigation of complex flow phenomena using advanced computational approaches, including RANS, LES, DES, CFD and Discrete Element Method (DEM) techniques. His work spans aerodynamic flow analysis, airfoil performance enhancement, flow control and optimization, turbulent flows, particle-laden and granular flows, and coupled multiphase systems. A significant aspect of his research is the application of computational modelling to understand underlying flow physics and develop improved engineering solutions. His research has also extended toward aeroacoustics, propulsion and advanced/high-speed aerodynamic problems. He has published research in reputed international Q1/Q2 journals, with contributions encompassing aerodynamic performance enhancement, DEM-based particle-flow analysis and multiphase-flow modelling. Overall, his research represents an interdisciplinary computational approach linking fundamental fluid mechanics with aerospace and industrial engineering applications.
