Dr. Neeru Singla, Assistant Professor, School of Engineering & Sciences at GD Goenka University. She did her PhD from Thapar Institute of Engineering &Technology, Patiala with thesis entitled “Quantitative Phase Imaging of Biological Samples using Optical Coherence tomography”. She received her M.tech & B.E. from Sant Longowal Institute of Engg. & tech., Longowal. She has more than 10 research publications in SCI journals and international conferences. She got international travel grant from SERB to participate the “ Biophotonics Congress: Optics in the life Sciences”, USA, April 14-17, (2019). Her area of interest includes machine and deep learning applications for the development of health care devices such as quantitative phase microscopy and optical coherence tomography. Her research contributions are in Biomedical Optics and development and application of various optical methods for non-invasive and non-destructive imaging of biological cells and images. She is interested in the development of biomedical devices and image processing applications.
