Dr. Priya Goyal is a seasoned academician with over 18 years of experience in teaching and research in Computer Science and Engineering. She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in CSE from MVN University and M. Tech (CSE), B.E(IT) from MDU Rohtak. Currently serving as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science Engineering in G. D. Goenka University, Gurugram. Prior to this she was serving as Assistant Professor (Selection Grade-III) in the Department of CSE (AIML) at Manipal University Jaipur, she has previously held key roles including Head of Department and academic coordinator in reputed institutions.
Her teaching expertise spans core and advanced subjects such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Software Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, with research focused on hate speech analysis in political contexts, and has published extensively in Scopus indexed journals and conferences.
Dr. Priya is actively involved in academic leadership through curriculum design, examination coordination, and policy formation. She also mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students, guiding projects that have been published and presented internationally
A passionate educator and innovator, she holds multiple patents in AI, ML, and security, and is a reviewer and committee member in leading international conferences. Her research interests include AI, ML, NLP, and Big Data, and she continues to contribute meaningfully to the academic and research ecosystem.
