Dr Shaina Suresh has been an academician for over two decades. She has completed her Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from Amrutvahini College of Engineering, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Master's in Technology from Dr M.G.R University, Chennai and PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering (specialisation in Analogue RF Circuits and Systems) from Sharda University, Greater Noida. With over two decades of academic expertise, including one decade of international academic and administrative experience in Malaysia, she has developed a strong foundation in curriculum development, quality assurance, and cross-border academic collaborations.

Her global exposure has allowed her to work with diverse teams, align academic programmes with international standards, and lead initiatives that bridge local and global education practices. Her research interests are low-power circuits and systems and IoT-based smart systems. She is a Certified Trainer on OBE by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) and provides training on the implementation of OBE under various TEQIP III programmes. She has completed various courses by NPTEL, like NBA Accreditation and Teaching- Learning in Engineering (NATE), Accreditation and Outcome-Based Learning, and Making Learning Engaging through Interactive Games
