Education:
Ph.D from IIT Roorkee. Completed Master of Science in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee and Bachelors of Science (Chemistry Honors), from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata affiliated to Calcutta University.
Research:
Published numerous journals in SCIE, SCI, scopus, etc. Have edited books and book chapters for various publication houses such as Springer nature, Taylor & Francis, etc. Currently working on carbon based and metal oxide-based nanomaterials on various applications such as hydrogen evolution, photocatalysis, water treatment, sensing, etc.
Teaching:
Teaching interests are majorly courses of physical chemistry such as, Quantum chemistry, thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Molecular spectroscopy, chemical & ionic equilibrium
Practice:
Teaching experience for more than 7 years. Have participated in several FDP’s, MOOC’s from SWAYAM, etc.
Service:
Former affiliated member of Royal Society of Chemistry and Indian Science Congress, reviewed several papers for various journals like MRS advances, reviewing papers of international conferences
