Dr. Sudipta K. Mishra is currently working as a Professor of Civil Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in the United States, focusing on modelling water and nutrient flow. Dr. Mishra holds a Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Jadavpur University in India.
Dr. Mishra’s research covers a broad range of critical areas within environmental and civil engineering and spans climate change impacts, groundwater modelling, urban sustainability, and the Water Energy Food (WEF) nexus. Dr. Mishra has over thirty publications, has worked in multiple funded projects, guided several Ph.D. scholars, reviews for reputed journals, and has been part of societies like ASCE and AGU. With extensive experience in construction, quality assurance, and quality control (QA/QC), Dr. Mishra brings a diverse skill set to academia.
