Dr. Khushbu Parik is an academician and researcher in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at GD Goenka University. With a PhD from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, her doctoral work focused on the utilization of waste materials for fabricating effective noise barriers, reflecting her commitment to sustainable engineering solutions.
Dr. Khushbu Parik is an academic and researcher in Civil Engineering, specializing in Environmental Engineering, currently working as an Assistant Professor at GD Goenka University. She earned her PhD in Environmental Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur where her doctoral research focused on Utilization of Waste Materials in the Fabrication of Effective Noise Barriers. She holds an M. Tech in Environmental Engineering, with a thesis on Evaluation of Water Quality Index of Groundwater of Sanwer Industrial Area, and a B. Tech in Civil Engineering.
In her professional career, Dr. Khushbu Parik has been serving as an Assistant Professor at GD Goenka University since October 2022, teaching Civil and Environmental Engineering subjects, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. She previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Malwa Institute of Technology, Indore (2016–2017) and as a Teaching Assistant at MNIT Jaipur (2017–2019), gaining extensive experience in both theoretical and practical instruction.
Her research portfolio includes presentations at national and international conferences, such as the Asian Conference on Indoor Environmental Quality (2019), ICEPADM (2021), and the 5th International Conference on Innovative Advancements in Engineering and Technology (2022).
She has published journal articles in reputed outlets, including Springer, and has authored book chapters on topics related to noise pollution and its health impacts.
Dr. Khushbu Parik also holds a patent for an Adaptive Noise Cancelling Window (Patent No. 440218-001, Government of India). Her notable projects include the Preparation of a Noise Map for JLN Marg, Jaipur in collaboration with the Rajasthan Pollution Control Board and MNIT Jaipur, aimed at assessing and mitigating urban noise pollution.
