Dr. Apoorva Dixit is a distinguished legal academic, practitioner, and trainer, currently serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Law, G.D. Goenka University. With a Ph.D. in Arbitration Law and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from Hidayatullah National Law University, she brings a wealth of expertise in corporate law, arbitration, mediation, and cyber law. She is heading the Centre for Conflict Resolution. With over a decade of teaching experience,Dr. Dixit has been recognized with awards like the Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Faculty Award 2021. She is also an accredited mediator, certified arbitrator and a certified trainer under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, contributing to workplace equity and dispute resolution.

A prominent figure in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Dr. Dixit has extensively researched arbitration, mediation, and online dispute resolution (ODR). Her published works span topics such as institutional and ad-hoc arbitration, mediation in environmental disputes, and emergency arbitration in India. She has presented her research at esteemed forums.

Dr. Dixit actively contributes to ADR practice as an empaneled arbitrator, mediator, and conciliator. She is deeply engaged in promoting ADR mechanisms through mediation centers, legal education, and training programs. As a peer reviewer and editorial board member for reputed legal journals, she also ensures the dissemination of high-quality research in this domain.
