Alumni Talk Series - SOM 2024

On 7th August 2024, The School of Management at GD Goenka University invited four of their distinguished alumna for an exciting and insightful interaction with the first-year BBA (2024-28) batch. The session featured Ms. Roshni Somani, Mr. Chirag Kesarwani, and Ms. Bhoomika Rajpoot, all from the BBA Batch of 2019, and Ms. Megha Gupta from the B.Com (Hons.) Batch of 2017.

These accomplished professionals, who have carved successful careers in their respective domains, shared their journeys of growth, challenges, and achievements. Reflecting on their transformative experiences at the university, they spoke about how the institution had prepared them for the corporate world. Their engaging narratives emphasized the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and effective networking in navigating professional challenges and seizing opportunities. They encouraged students to maximize their university experience by building critical skills, exploring diverse opportunities, and maintaining a proactive and goal-oriented mindset. The alumni interaction not only served as a bridge between the past and present but also left students inspired to envision and work towards a bright future, making the session both motivating and memorable.

Alumni Meet & Alma Star Awards 2025

GD Goenka University's Alumni Meet on January 11, 2025, celebrated alumni achievements and strengthened connections between graduates and faculty. The event featured cultural performances and the Alma Star Awards, recognizing excellence across various fields. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kim Menezes emphasized the alumni's crucial role in the university's legacy. Engaging activities and a networking lunch fostered community spirit.

A GLIMPSE INTO THE FINANCE SECTOR WITH MONIKA GUPTA 10 TH APRIL 2024

GD Goenka University, School of Management organized an “Alumni Talk Series: A Glimpse into the Finance Sector” with Monika Gupta, Credit Analyst at World Network Services (WNS) on 10th April 2024.

Monika shared her valuable experiences and insights from the finance industry with our current students and alumni. Her journey from an MBA student to a respected professional in finance was not just inspiring but also offered practical advice for those aspiring to make their mark in this dynamic sector.

Monika's dedication and passion for her field were evident as she navigated through the intricacies of finance, making complex concepts accessible to all attendees. The event was an initiative by Dr. Anju Rani, Dr. Anureet and Mr. Ashu, Faculty, school of management. The event fostered a deep connection between students and the vast opportunities that lie in the finance industry. Students are looking forward for more such engaging sessions in the future
