Republic Day

The Student Council organized a Republic Day celebration on January 26th to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The event featured patriotic dance, music, drama performances on civic responsibility, and a tricolor-themed face painting activity, effectively fostering a sense of unity and national pride among students.
Youth Day

The Red Ribbon Society celebrated National Youth Day on January 12th 2026 to honor Swami Vivekananda. The event featured a cultural dance, a health awareness oath, and a campus rally focused on breaking the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS through the message, "Red Ribbon ka ek hi nara — Jaankari sabse bada sahara!
Independence Day celebration

On 15th August 2025, the hostel amphitheater came alive with a spirited Independence Day celebration. The event began with the flag hoisting ceremony and the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among students. The programme featured heartfelt patriotic poetry recitations, a powerful drama by the Drama Club, a melodious performance by the Music Club, an energetic group dance by the Dance Club, and a colorful face-painting activity, making the occasion both creative and memorable.
Photography Club : Najariya ( नज़रिया )

On 20 August 2025, Shutter Samuh, the Photography Club of GD Goenka University, hosted its flagship event “Najariya – A Celebration of Photography and Creativity” during the BSA slot. The competition featured an on-the-spot theme reveal, “Odd One Out”, challenging participants to capture unique perspectives within 50 minutes. Students showcased originality, observation, and technical skills, making it a vibrant celebration of creativity and visual storytelling. The winners of Najariya 2025 were 1st – Elwill (B.Sc. Hons Agriculture, 2025–29), 2nd – Shannon (B.Tech CSE AI & ML, 2023–27) and Himadri (B.Sc. Hons Agriculture, 2024–28, team), 3rd – Sagiraju Jnana Prakash Verma (B.Tech CSE Cyber Security, 2025–29). The event concluded successfully, highlighting imagination, skill, and individuality.
Rachna The Art Club : Rangparampara

On 27 August 2025, Rachna – The Art Club hosted its first flagship event, “Rangparampara: A Celebration of Traditional Art” at GD Goenka University, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi. The event celebrated India’s rich artistic heritage and provided students a platform to showcase their creativity through traditional art forms like Madhubani, Mandala, Warli, and Pattachitra.Esteemed judges Dr. Rekha Kaushal (SOLA) and Mr. Amit Singh (UID - Unitedworld Institute of Design) evaluated the artworks, offering valuable feedback to participants.Honorary mentions went to S. SriNarayani and Muskan. The event was guided by Dr. Sheetal Ma’am and Parveen Sir, with support from GD Goenka University’s management.

Literary Club :- MINDMASH-Open mic

On 3 September 2025, the Literary Club of GD Goenka University organized the MindMash Open Mic Event, providing a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity and literary talent. Participants presented spoken word poetry, singing, storytelling, stand-up narrations, and thought-provoking performances on contemporary themes, creating an engaging and energetic atmosphere. The winners of MindMash 2025 were Shridipto Choudhury (B.Sc. Forensic Science 2024-28), Mir Areiba,(M.Sc. Forensic Science 2024-26), and Varin Baliyan (B.Tech. Fire & Safety 2025-29). The event concluded successfully, celebrating creativity, expression, and confidence among students.
Red Ribbon club :Speak to Inspire

On 10 September 2025, the Red Ribbon Club of GD Goenka University organized “Speak to Inspire” under the theme “Youth United for a Healthy Future”, aiming to motivate students to promote health, responsibility, and social well-being. Participants shared powerful speeches on healthy habits, drug abuse, HIV/AIDS awareness, and the role of youth as changemakers, inspiring the audience with their clarity, confidence, and impactful messages. The event was judged by Dr. Rubina (SoHAS) and Dr. Kunal Adhikary (SoAS). The winners were 1st – Tannu Kumari (B.Com Hons, 2024-28), 2nd – Pooja (B.Com, 2024-27), 3rd – Rohini Lahiri (B.Sc Hons Biotechnology, 2023-27). The event concluded with a call to action for collective efforts towards a healthier and safer community.
Dramatics Club :- Bollyday: Cinema, Chaos, and Characters

On 17 September 2025, the Mukhota Drama Club of GD Goenka University organized Bollyday, an inter-university Bollywood-themed drama competition at the AV Room (UID). The event featured solo and duet performances inspired by iconic Bollywood scenes, with participation from GD Goenka University, KR Mangalam University, The North Cap University, and NIIT. The competition was judged by Dr. Arpita Sharma and Dr. Vishakha. In the Solo Category, Ashwarya (The North Cap University) won 1st position and Pooja- B.Com, 2024-27 (GD Goenka University) secured 2nd position. In the Duet Category, Ayush, Sonali, and Kavya (NIIT) won 1st position, while Monika-B.Com, 2024-27 and Laksh- B.Com, 2024-27 (GD Goenka University) secured 2nd position. The event concluded successfully, celebrating creativity and theatrical talent.
Soul Quest Club : No Way Out - Escape Room

On 17 September 2025, the Soul Quest Club of GD Goenka University organized its first event, “No Way Out: Escape Room Challenge,” across Rooms 304, 304A, and 321. The event marked the launch of the club and attracted over 120 participants forming 40 teams from across the university. The competition consisted of three rounds: the Soul Pitch Challenge, where participants spoke on spontaneous prompts; the Roman Numeral Puzzle, testing logical reasoning under time pressure; and the Headphone Challenge, which required creative non-verbal communication and teamwork. After intense competition, the winners were 1st – Aadya Sabharwal- (B.Tech CSE Core 2023-2027) Ritesh Raghav- (B.Tech CSE Core 2023-2027) Shubhneet- (B.Tech CSE Core 2023-2027); 2nd – Nandita Dutta- (BSE Biotech 2024-2028), Priyanshu Yadav- (B.Tech 2024-2028) , Pulkit Bohra (B.Tech 2024-2028); 3rd – Crosbee Lungkimliu Marenmai- (BSE Biotech 2025-2029), Rashi Thakran- (BSE Biotech 2025-2029). The event concluded successfully with a prize distribution by Sheetal Ma’am, Daksh Sir, and Parveen Sir, celebrating teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving while marking a successful beginning for the Soul Quest Club.
Prizm Fashion Society: Fashion Show

On 24 September 2025, Prizm – The Fashion Club of GD Goenka University organized its flagship event “Fashion Show: A Celebration of Style, Creativity & Confidence” at the UID AV Room. The event featured Group and Duet performances with enthusiastic participation from multiple universities, creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. The competition was judged by Lakshita Yadav and Sweta Singh (Miss Goenkan 2025). In the Group Category, 1st Prize was won by Lady Irwin College, 2nd Prize by Lloyd University, and 3rd Prize by K.R. Mangalam University (Team Roopantr), while FIMT IPU received a Special Mention. In the Duet Category, Akhilesh and Pranav (Aurobindo University) secured 1st position, Yashika Khari and Sana Babu (Lady Irwin College) won 2nd position, and Yashika and Shresth (K.R. Mangalam University – Team Melange) secured 3rd position. The event concluded successfully under the guidance of Dr. Sheetal Ma’am and Parveen Sir, celebrating creativity, confidence, and teamwork among participants.
Music Club : Rhythmic Raga

On 29 October 2025, the Saptak Music Society of GD Goenka University organized “Rhythmic Raga” at the university campus, providing a platform for students to showcase their musical talent in Solo Singing (Bollywood, Classical, Western) and Solo Instrumental Percussion categories. The event was judged by Mrs. Jyoti Ma’am and Mr. Chandan Sir, whose feedback and appreciation enriched the experience for all participants. Performances ranged from soulful ragas, ghazals, and Bollywood hits to energetic Western beats and percussion, keeping the audience engaged throughout. The winners included Sunil Tigga- BCA 2023-26 (Instrumental) , Tejshree Parmar- B.Tech CSE 2025-29 (Western), Atharva Tripathi-B.Tech CSE 2025-29 (Ghazal), Anugraha Unni, BSc(H) Agriculture 2023-27(Classical), Mainak Chattaraj- B.Tech Aerospace 2025-29(Bollywood), Sparsh Bhardwaj, BSc(H) Agriculture 2024-28(Rap), with Mishma Mary Jeemon- BSc(H) Agriculture 2023-27(Special Mention) and Toshita Parihar (B.Tech CSE AIML 2025-29) also recognized. The event concluded successfully, celebrating creativity, talent, and the joy of music.
Haryana Day Celebration

On 3rd November 2025, BSA hosted a vibrant Haryana Day celebration at GD Goenka University, honoring the state’s rich heritage, cultural diversity, and progress. The event began with a welcoming address that set a tone of unity and pride, followed by a dynamic cultural program featuring folk songs, energetic dance performances, and a compelling drama on women empowerment, highlighting Haryana’s traditions and the significant role of its women. Engaging performances fostered cultural pride and conveyed meaningful social messages, while star volunteers were recognized for their contributions. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, group photographs, and a strong sense of community, leaving participants inspired and appreciative of Haryana’s legacy and achievements.
Frame The Tale

The Photography Club, in collaboration with the Literary Club, hosted “Frame the Tale” on 12th November 2025, celebrating the fusion of photography and storytelling. 31 participants took part, either individually or in pairs. The event began with an orientation in the university auditorium, explaining rules and judging criteria. Participants had one hour to capture a photograph on campus and then create a story inspired by it.The storytelling round was held in Room 304, where each participant or team narrated their story in two minutes. Judges Rinkal Ma’am and Praveen Sir assessed entries on creativity, originality, image-story connection, and narration skills. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, felicitated by Parul Ma’am, Rinkal Ma’am, and Praveen Sir, marking a memorable end to a creative and inspiring day.

PLANATHON - The Ultimate Event Planning

The Event Management Club hosted Planathon: The Ultimate Event Planning on 19th November 2025 in the auditorium, providing a platform for students to showcase creativity, management skills, and quick decision-making. Over 120 participants formed 40 teams, each assigned an event theme such as Christmas Carnival, Cultural Festival, or Tech Exhibition.
The competition had multiple rounds: first, teams created detailed event plans evaluated by Mr. Daksh Mehta on creativity, feasibility, and execution, narrowing the field to 10 teams. The next round tested crisis management, where teams responded to sudden challenges, with the top 5 teams moving to the final round. The event concluded with the Judge Interaction & Final Pitch Round, assessing planning depth, communication, and problem-solving under pressure, creating an engaging and high-energy environment.
