CROSSFIRE — Rapid-Fire Debate Competition

The MUN and Debate Club of GD Goenka University hosted "CROSSFIRE," an inter-departmental rapid-fire debate competition, on August 26, 2026, at the Gopi Ram Goenka Moot Court Hall (D-Block). Bringing together participants from across diverse schools—including Engineering and Sciences, Law, Management, and Liberal Arts—the event challenged speakers to tackle the profound motion: "Do You Have The Right To Die?"

Across intense rounds of opening statements, rapid rebuttals, and persuasive closing arguments, participants engaged deeply with the legal, ethical, and personal-autonomy dimensions of euthanasia under strict time constraints. A distinguished panel evaluated the contenders on argument quality, counter-argument effectiveness, structured clarity, and decorum, witnessing exceptional poise and eloquence from both freshers and senior students alike.
