Welcome to the School of Liberal Arts (SoLA). The rapidly changing world right now, needs your ideas, strength, resilience, patience and individual talents. SoLA endeavors to provide a platform and opportunities for students to hone their people skills, strengthen capabilities, focus on wellbeing, encourage spirit of enquiry and supports academic pursuit.

The School of Liberal Arts at GD Goenka University comprises of diverse disciplines that offer an integrative pedagogical interface to learners and endeavors to nurture them into competent and compassionate human beings that are geared with skills for varied career avenues. The inter-connectedness of the disciplines also helps the students develop a comprehensive worldview.

The School offers several opportunities for gaining International exposure to it’s students through academic mobility opportunities, summer school programs and short and long term exchange programs through arrangements of MoUs and articulations with several foreign University partners.

The NEP 2020 aligned Choice based credits systems offers the students the flexibility to choose interdisciplinary courses harnessing holistic development and offers opportunities of engagement with the industry through inter disciplinary projects, internships, guest lectures, webinars and field trips, community outreach, mental wellbeing camps, group presentations and an intensive mentor-mentee program are integral threads woven across all programs.

Several of our Alumni are making us proud by their achievements and by mentoring the existing students to transition as successful professionals.

These are exciting times at the School as we are transitioning towards adopting the most current curriculum, having progressive engagements with International partner institutions and strengthening our academic and research orientation. Our highest priority is to prepare the next generation of social scientists and mental health workforce that are equipped with critical thinking abilities, are technologically sound and adaptable to innovations with a commitment for lifelong learning. We will look forward to your active participation in all our endeavors and are hopeful that you will graduate with the ability to make informed decisions, make rational judgments and make positive intellectual contributions for all humanity.
