Dr. Ugur Guven, Senior Professor of Aerospace Engineering, leads the department with expertise in interstellar travel and nuclear propulsion for space missions and habitats.

He serves on the Advisory Council of the UN CSSTEAP, promoting global aerospace education, and is the Honorary Executive Coordinator of the Indo-French Academic Alliance, helping form the Indo-French Aerospace Consortium. A recognized expert in lunar settlement, Dr. Guven is actively involved in NASA LEAG and international lunar workshops. His research inspires innovation in deep space exploration, while his mentorship fosters hands-on learning and global engagement.
