The Department of Clinical Psychology at G.D. Goenka University is dedicated to advancing mental health education, research, and practice through a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. With a vision to nurture competent and compassionate professionals, the department integrates theory, evidence-based practice, and hands-on training.

Our programs—B.Sc. (Hons.) in Clinical Psychology, M.A. in Clinical Psychology, and Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology are designed in line with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) guidelines. The curriculum combines rigorous academic knowledge with supervised clinical exposure, equipping students with strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention.

Experiential learning is at the core of our training. Students gain practical experience through internships, psychological assessment labs, case study discussions, and field visits to hospitals, NGOs, and rehabilitation centers. A team of experienced clinicians, researchers, and academicians mentor students in developing critical thinking, cultural sensitivity, and ethical practice.

Beyond academics, the department fosters research, community outreach, and mental health awareness programs. Conferences, workshops, and collaborations with leading organizations ensure students remain updated with global developments.
