Dr Ahsan has extensive experience of research and teaching. Prior to joining GDGU, he has worked at Yale University as a Fulbright Scholar.

He has also worked as an assistant professor at AMU, Murshidabad Center, West Bengal, Ministry of Higher Education, KSA, and Glocal University, Saharanpur UP.

His research papers/ articles have appeared in the journals of international repute including Economic and Political Weekly, and Politeja. His research area is feminism, Post Colonialism, and Vernacular literature
