HoD's Message
Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GD Goenka University
Dr. Akhilesh Latoria is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department , Computer Science and Engineering at School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University, Sohna ,Gurugram with more than 16 years of extensive experience in teaching, training, research, and managing diverse learning and development strategies. His research interests encompass Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Image Classification. He earned his Ph.D. in the domain of “Fuzzy Approach to Pattern Recognition for Large Databases.” Dr. Latoria is an Oracle Certified Professional, an IBM-certified trainer, and holds a certification in Software Testing. He has published four patents and has been granted design patents. Furthermore, he has authored several books on Digital Image Processing and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and numerous high-quality research papers published in internationally recognized Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for various esteemed journals and conferences.
