Dr. Shipra Kataria, Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering specializes in Machine Learning, with her research focused on data sparseness alleviation in collaborative filtering framework of recommendation systems. Dr. Kataria is IBM DB2 and Rational Software Architect (RSA) certified, showcasing her commitment to industry standards. A dedicated researcher and mentor, she has supervised multiple undergraduate and postgraduate projects, particularly in areas like rank optimization and query recommendation techniques. She is dedicated to preparing students for successful careers in technology and research by instilling a strong foundational knowledge, hands-on experience, and a mindset geared toward innovation. Her pedagogical methods aim not only to teach core concepts but also to inspire students to explore new ideas and techniques, aligning with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
