Welcome to the Department of General Management Area at GD Goenka University!

The General Management area builds a strong foundation for navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship and international business. It blends critical thinking, strategic insight, and global awareness to prepare professionals who can adapt and excel in diverse environments.

Through platforms like the E Cell and IB Club, students engage in debates, innovation forums, and interactions with industry experts, translating classroom learning into real opportunities.

With over sixteen years of academic and industry exposure, I encourage an approach rooted in curiosity and initiative—qualities that open doors to lasting impact in the business world.

E-Cell: To cultivate students’ entrepreneurial spirit and harness their potential for innovative, forward-thinking ideas, we offer mentorship and support. This is accomplished through speaker sessions with industry leaders, workshops, and events like Innospark, Udyami Bazar designed to foster entrepreneurship and encourage students to share ideas that contribute to growth and development.

IB Club: The IB club activities are planned and carried out by student coordinators with guidance from the relevant faculty members. A wide range of events, including seminars, debates, quizzes, are regularly organized to develop the essential skills needed for success in the corporate world. The club hosts industry experts for guest talks and seminars. The IB Club invites students from all majors to engage in discussions about business and economic issues at both local and international levels.
